Nahom Records Inc. was established on 4 February 2000 by Elias Fikru in Corona, Queens. The studio records, packages, and distributes Ethiopian music and film for audiences at home and in the diaspora.
From 2005 to 2020 the company worked in Washington, D.C. Directory listings also place it in Addis Ababa. The catalog still circulates across Ethiopia, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Israel.
